Ensure the timber support battens or roof rafters are level, clean, and structurally sound. Fix uPVC J-trim or starter tracks along the wall and fascia board to support the soffit edges. Measure the gap between the wall and the fascia and cut the lightweight hollow boards to size using a fine-toothed saw. Slide the first board into the receiving trim and fix to the timber battens through the tongue flange using stainless steel pins. Slot the tongue of the next board into the groove of the previous one and repeat along the roofline. If using optional vents, install pre-vented hollow boards at regular intervals. Secure the final board and finish any exposed corners or edges with dedicated uPVC joint trims.
